These flowers are to represent not only physical beauty, but the preciousness of temporal existence, intrinsically parelleling our own lives in the physical realm. The wedding dresses were part of an installation called "Ghosts," consisting of 13 thrift store wedding dresses, premiering at the Sleepybird CD release party at Goloka Gallery on Friday October 13th, 2006. These dresses were fascinating in the sense they were being sold in thrift stores, these dresses that once stood in front of an altar, leaving us only to ponder their personal history. The photo montage "Zoned" is a statement on cookie-cutter suburban development, all photographs being taken within 2 miles from my home in Beavercreek, Ohio.
